Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

This policy explains what information Luki collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have — including how to delete your account and data.

Introduction

Luki (“Luki”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. Luki is operated by StackSpace Software Development Services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Luki mobile application, the website at lukibaby.com, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using Luki, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Who Luki is for

Luki is intended for adults (18+) who are parents, legal guardians or caregivers. The information you enter about a baby — including health and care details — is information you provide as an adult on the child’s behalf. Children do not create accounts or use Luki directly. See Children’s privacy below.

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: such as your email address, display name, login method, notification preferences, and an optional profile photo.
  • Your baby’s information: such as your baby’s name, date of birth, sex, an optional baby photo, and optional care and health-related details you choose to add — for example allergies, medical conditions, blood type, feeding preferences, pediatrician details and emergency contacts.
  • Activity and care logs: such as feeds, diapers, sleep, notes, pumping, vaccines and growth measurements, including times, amounts, durations and any notes you add. Some of this is health-related information about your baby.
  • Care-circle information: such as your household, its members, each member’s role, and invite codes you create or accept.
  • Photos: baby photos and your avatar. Baby photos are private to your household; avatars may be visible to other signed-in users you share a household with.
  • Subscription and transaction information: such as entitlement status, trial status, and limited transaction metadata needed to manage subscriptions and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment card number.
  • Usage and device information: such as device type, operating system, app version, authentication session, and standard server logs needed to operate the Service securely.

With your permission, the app may access your device camera and photo library to set a profile or baby photo, and may send you notifications. You can change or revoke these permissions in your device settings.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate accounts and manage subscriptions and free trials
  • Log, store, display and sync your baby’s data across your care circle
  • Create hand-off summaries and send notifications you enable
  • Improve app performance, troubleshoot issues, and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following situations:

  • With your care circle: when you invite someone to your household, they can see and contribute to the same baby data, activity timeline and hand-off summaries. You control who you invite and their role.
  • Service providers: with trusted providers that help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, authentication, storage, realtime sync, subscriptions, and email delivery.
  • With your direction: when you choose to use third-party sign-in or app store purchase flows.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our users, rights, property, or the Service.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

We share information only with parties we reasonably believe are required to protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Health-related information

Information you enter about your baby may include health-related details. We use that information only to provide the features of the Service. We do not use health-related information for targeted advertising, data brokerage, or cross-app tracking.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including safeguards for data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under local data-protection laws. You may have the ability to:

  • Access or update certain account and profile information
  • Delete your account from the app settings
  • Withdraw app permissions such as camera, photos and notifications in your device settings

If you need help with a privacy request, contact us at hi@lukibaby.com.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the Luki app. When you delete your account:

  • Your account, profile, avatar, care-circle memberships and in-app notifications are permanently deleted.
  • If you are the only member of a household, that household and all of its data — including babies, activity logs and baby photos — is permanently deleted.
  • If you share a household with others, the household and its data remain for the remaining members, and records you created are reassigned to a remaining parent so the family’s history stays intact.
  • We may retain a minimal record for legitimate billing, tax, security, fraud-prevention or legal purposes. Third-party providers such as app stores or subscription platforms may retain separate records under their own policies.

If you need help deleting your account or data, email hi@lukibaby.com and we will assist.

Children’s privacy

Luki is designed for adults to record information about their own child. It is not directed to children, and children do not create accounts or provide information to us directly. The baby information in Luki is provided and controlled by a parent, guardian or authorized caregiver. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact hi@lukibaby.com and we will review and take appropriate action.

International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we take reasonable steps designed to protect your information when it is processed internationally.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting the updated policy, updating the date above, through the app, or by email where appropriate. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
